During my BBC Performing Arts Fund Fellowship year, I attended festivals and conferences featuring work by and for children and young people.

At the Children’s Media Conference in Sheffield in July 2015, I attended events on digital media and publishing and the online and digital content engagement behaviour of children and young people.

Video, specifically YouTube videos and trusted channels within YouTube, are incredibly popular with children and young people, which is one reason why I proposed digital storytelling content for Snow Queen with a lot of video content.
